A HEF grant provided mobile desks for Mrs. Ghysels’ science room at Baldwin Street Middle School. These desks allow students to work in different group configurations and can easily be moved around to form circles for whiteboard meetings. Mobile desks are more responsive to the needs of growing middle schoolers than traditional seating, creating opportunities for greater collaboration among students.
